James has over 15 year’s experience of HR and employment law and has held HR Manager, Business Partner and Director roles in financial services, manufacturing, facilities management and retail. James set up Brilliant HR with the simple goal of providing brilliant HR and employment law advice to businesses.

James holds a PhD in HRM, an MSc in Management and a first-class law degree. James is a Fellow of the CIPD and a Mental Health First Aider. James is also an accredited workplace mediator and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
